Rimfire Silhouette Matches

 Dates:            1st Saturday of every month!

Eligibility:     Open to all

 Time:              9:00 am to 9:45 am  ........... Registration and sight-in

                        9:45 am  .............................  Mandatory shooters meeting

                        10:00 am  .............................  Match begins

                         If time and number of shooters permits, 2 matches may be shot in one day.

 Ammunition: 22 caliber rimfire ammunition only 

Equipment:    2 classes of rifles are allowed -        

1) Single shot rifles with iron sights

2) Open class, any rifle any sights                                        

Program:       Match will be a 40 shot format - 10 each of the following:

                                    Chickens at 50 meters

                                    Pigs at 100 meters

                                    Turkeys at 150 meters

                                    Rams at 200 meters 

Chickens will be shot offhand, the remaining targets will be shot from cross sticks, either prone or sitting. 

Fees:               $8.00 per shooter per match.                                   

Safety:                        All persons on the firing line are required to wear eye and ear protection.

                        Range safety will be reviewed at the mandatory shooters meeting.

Shooters will be required to follow commands of range director at all times, or will be asked to leave the premises. 

Other:                        Volunteers will be needed to call the line and for setting targets.
